Colombia. PACCAR Parts announced the opening of an 80,000-square-foot Parts Distribution Center (PDC) in Bogota, Colombia.
The facility increases the availability of parts for distributors and customers in Colombia, with same-day deliveries in the city and next-day deliveries in many other areas of the country.
PACCAR PARTS is a division of PACCAR Inc. PACCAR Parts is a world leader in the distribution, sale and marketing of spare parts for trucks, trailers, buses and heavy and medium duty engines.
The new distribution center has the capacity to store up to 30,000 pieces and serves 20 dealerships throughout Colombia. The Bogota facility is the latest addition to PACCAR Parts' global distribution network, which includes 19 distribution centers spanning 3.5 million square feet of warehouse space.
"The opening of the Bogota PDC underscores PACCAR Parts' commitment to the distribution and service of world-class parts," said Laura Bloch, general manager of PACCAR Parts and vice president of PACCAR. "The new facility reduces lead time and provides greater access to parts at dealer locations throughout Colombia."
