DIREGO, distributor of VIPAR Heavy Duty, adds three locations to its network

International. DIREGO, a shareholder of VIPAR Heavy Duty since 2010 and one of its first distributors in Mexico, incorporated its three locations in Colombia into the group's network, thus expanding its presence in South America.

Two of the Colombian locations are located in Bogotá and one in Cali. DIREGO is headquartered in Saltillo, the capital of Coahuila, Mexico, and operates four distribution centers and 24 stores in the United States, in addition to one in Houston.

"We are excited to continue expanding our partnership with VIPAR Heavy Duty. The addition of our locations in Colombia to the network reinforces our ability to serve customers in that region and positions us for future growth," said Alejandro "Alex" García Pérez, Chief Commercial Officer of DIREGO. "Our reputation is built on exceptional service and providing the highest quality truck and trailer parts from the most trusted brands in the industry. We are eager, together with VIPAR Heavy Duty, to strengthen that reputation among our customers and Colombian communities."

García, who joined DIREGO's management team in 2013, is a member of the Board of Directors of VIPAR Heavy Duty. During his time at DIREGO, the distributor has experienced significant growth. It also became a subsidiary of the ZOR Capital Group, focused on automotive and commercial vehicle transportation, manufacturing and distribution in Latin America.

"Alex's experience in the aftermarket and his knowledge of the market are great assets as we execute our strategy to further strengthen our presence throughout Latin America. We are proud to have the strongest and most progressive network of independent aftermarket distributors in the Americas, now serving the needs of end customers on two continents.

DIREGO was founded in 1994 and has steadily expanded its presence over the years. They provide parts for all models of trucks, trailers and buses.
