The International Congress of the Automotive Industry and its Parts 2024 took place in Bogota

Colombia. Bogota was the epicenter of automotive innovation with the XXI International Congress of the Automotive Industry and its Parts, an event that took place on April 25 of this year. This was a key meeting point for industry leaders and auto parts experts.

With a focus on sustainable mobility, e-commerce and road safety, the congress was a platform for the exchange of ideas and the formation of strategic collaborations. Influential leaders shared their insight into emerging trends in auto parts manufacturing, thus outlining the future of the automotive industry.

Some of the topics on the academic agenda were: road safety, sustainability, technological innovation, digital strength against fraud and public policy on vehicle safety in Colombia. In addition, opportunities for the Aftermarket in a disruptive market were explored and the growth potential of auto parts in the online channel was discussed.

Carlos Andrés Pineda Osorio, executive president of Asopartes Nacional, highlighted the importance of the event: "A forum where participants in the automotive market of vehicles, motorcycles, bicycles and other means of transport meet, to discuss current trends and the future of the industry in Colombia."

He also recognized the value of this type of meeting to learn about and analyze market trends as a guild. "It is important to know the trends and where the sector is heading in aspects such as mobility, business, digital transformation, trademark forgery and product cataloguing. This congress represents an effort for our affiliates to understand the dynamics of work at the national and international level, the current direction of business, where the economy is headed, as well as the behavior of cars, motorcycles, bicycles and everything related to public regulation."

The congress was attended by manufacturers, importers and distributors of the automotive sector, as well as executives, government representatives and organizations involved in the production, distribution and consumption chain of auto parts.
